Um I hoping no one would ask this. No I haven’t yet. You would think a smart guy would do so before spending a lot of effort on the details, right? No one has every accused me of an abundance of genius. Its part confidence and part design. Because I did build it to come apart I can use the parts and get a working chassis. I will run the chassis and see though. Probably would be a good idea.

Devon, we should all know to test our locomotives before investing time to detail them, or convert them to DCC, or whatever control/power system we will be using. But, I have skipped that step a few times, causing me frustration and dismay. So I am glad to read that you have tested the thing, and that it woiks. You should have learned that lesson on your excellent bash of the 2-6-0, just like I should have learned that lesson many times in my past.
