I just received word this morning that my friend and fellow modeler Bob Santos has passed away. He had a large scale indoor layout, and wrote some articles for Garden Railways magazine. He was a regular on the RailroadLine forums, where he always had a word of encouragement and support for other modelers.

I tried to make contact with him 10 or 15yrs ago because he was local and one hell of a modeler! Besides I wanted to turn him on to Amtrak 
His work was amazing and I had no clue he was right under my nose! My father was a member of Post 109 for close to 50yrs.
