B'mann 'Boose bash

You better get that done before the weather gets nice cause your wife will kick your arse for taking her clothes pins!

She’s only got about a gazillion of them in two plastic bags…you really think she’ll miss a dozen?..

Ken, my mom said the same thing about my paint mixing cups. But the ones she “re-purposed” were the ones that worked for me the best.

I wouldn’t soil to many clothes if I were you!

Had a few more hours to work on this…

Got some trim around the windows, and cut up a plastic “No Parking” sign to cover the roof. (The V-Groove siding kinda washes out in the pix.)

Got the roof trimmed up and fitted the cupola.

Now I want to see if I can fit the interior into it. Some cutting and rearranging will be in order. On the first bash I did, I didn’t bother with the interior, so if I screw this up I have parts around from the other one…

Not to steal your thunder Ken, but here is a shot of one that I did last year. Same idea, cupola is made of wood.

Looks good, Ron.

I love blanked out windows!

Managed to rearrange and fit the interior and cut out a new floor.

a coat of paint and it’s starting to look like something

Cupola still needs a roof and paint.

The caboose is looking great Ken,

I am lucky with clothes pegs, they are always lying on the path or lawn so they do not get missed.

Nice looking Ken. Nice choice on the colors

Starting to look like something, Ken!

Caboose project is looking great…

The caboose is lookin’ good Ken!

Interior looks good…what did you use to make the pads on top of the cabinets …they look great.

They were plastic parts in the kit. Just painted them brown and glued them on.

Working on getting the decals for it…

Just about done…

I’ll weather it a bit after the decals go on.

WOW, now that is a first class crummy.

Nicely done Ken

Very nice! the square cupola really looks good on it! One of those may be my next scratch project.
