BlueStone Southern Operating Session 5/18/19
Great video. Thanks Matt. Definately on our someday list.
I’m assuming that was you operating the coal train. Does that thing take forever or what? Ric and I ran that last year, and when we got it out to the to power plant, we called Uber for a ride back to the house…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-wink.gif)
Matt, Thanks for posting…
Ken, actually Jane was the engineer of the coal train…
Ken, I have ran that coal train before, but Jane was running this time. Last time I ran it Andy gave me the controls and said, this will keep you out of my hair for a couple hours. (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-tongue-out.gif)

And it worked too… hehehe (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)
There is a boxcar on a spur at time line 1:14 about to tip over! (https://largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-surprised.gif)
Good eye Joe ^^ Properly loading a boxcar is an art and a science!

Yeah, we had some wind due to thunderstorms in the area… A few cars were knocked over by the wind… Was nothing serious… (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

that it did! hahaha! I do like running trains that go all over the layout though. Those are the fun ones. Now, if I could just not get lost. hahaha!
Matt, you need to carry some post it with you and just draw an arrow and stick it to the nearest shrub or building!!!

I may have to. lol! At one of the op’s last year I was running the coal train. On the way back I remember thinking, none of this looks like what I saw on the way down to the power plant. haha!
Breadcrumbs.

Those don’t work unless Andy has been to the diner and ordered the “Haystack”… otherwise, he eats the breadcrumbs…

Yup, that was the ole ““lemme flip this switch and run the interchange track at Woodlawn and see if I get caught””???
Which you did… hehehe (http://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-cool.gif)

It’s only a bad idea if Matt can’t find his way back…(https://www.largescalecentral.com/externals/tinymce/plugins/emoticons/img/smiley-laughing.gif)

If only there hadn’t been video evidence. hahahaha!!!
Pretty sure we can’t use bread crumbs. There are some new neighbors that have taken a nest at freeman spur. hahha!
Luckily, I can find my way back. May not be the proper route…but I’m back. hahaha!!!
1 June, 2019 - Setup in Clarke’s driveway for the Second Ops Session. Weather looks good, with only a chance of rain, for this evening. Temps are in the 80’s and it is looking to be a perfect day for running trains.
We are (me) Expecting LIVE pictures Ric !
