Well, we completed another weekend of Operations on the Bluestone Southern… Temps were in the mid 80’s, and I do believe the Dew points were just as high…
Was a good weekend, 20 trains run on Saturday and 16 trains run on Sunday…

AN overall shot looking out over Evansville. The Hilltop subdivision tracks are towards the top of the picture… The gray area to the left is to be the Nashville Elevator yard track location… the gray loop inside is the EVWR shortline roadbed… tracks were onlt installed as far as the string of covered hoppers one can see down towrds the right just across the dry creek…
The following picture is a shot over Evansville, looking first to Woodlawn and eventually up to Bluefield… The blue canopy is sitting onver the Industrail Park location at Bluefield…
It was Hot, so we had refreshments and a cool spot for the crews to rest and recover:

Thanks guys… It was a wonderful weekend… Trains, and good friends… What more could one ask for… Well, OK, the humidity could have been lower… Was hot and humid, but not near as hot as it could have been for August…
