We got some snow, so decided to try out the new blade on the rotary I made. It did well, the chute did not clog and it threw the snow well, but the track had gotten some freezing rain first, so not much traction. Had fun though.

I usually plow with two or three locomotives in an MU consist. I also leave the locos outside for 30 minutes or so to cool down the tires. I have no problems with ice.

I need a bigger pusher engine, or more of what I have. Just not enough power, I don’t think, and probably need to switch to battery power, since track power is sorta sporadic on icy track.
