I did a search but found nothing…Is there a way to block viewing avatars? Some of them will danged near cause siezures!

and Andre needs to makes his smaller unless he wants us to think of him as the rear end of a loco! :lol:

you know guys an email would have sufficed…but I can see how it is…although looking at the avatar of the member I disturbed, I feel the need to ask how does one block out cutesy avatars? :smiley:

I have only seen one animated avatar, and it seems to belong to a Friar Tuck wanna be =D (one of my personal role models). It does change a tad fast between the 3 images, but is not bright or "disturbing" to me though; in fact it shows a level of creativity that sort of made be think beyond the plain and simple when I first arrived here. I am working on new original avatar that should make the predicted seizures a reality, and then this thread will just end all by itself ;).[/color]

I like Shawn - his posts are informative and he is acreative molder, but holy crap that is one annoying avatar :smiley: :smiley:

If you run firefox, load up AdBlock, then right click on an image, select “Adblock image”, and voila!

Don’t forget to whitelist the LSC ads, though. :slight_smile:

Interesting. I don’t have Ad Block, but if I right click the image in Firefox it gives me the option to block all images from the source website :smiley:

I have AdBlock, but can’t figure out how to whitelist the LSC ads. I depend on them as shortcuts! Help!

Right click on the “Adblock” in the lower right corner, and select “Whitelist this whole site”

AdBlock works wonders on another Large Scale Train Forum…it makes the view for those of us who will not pay, look like we do! oh MY it works great!
