Not to pick nits, and drifting off subject here a bit, but ‘freedom of speech’ that we in the US enjoy applies ONLY to the people / government relationship. I can tell you to shut the *#$ up and there’s nothing legally you can do about it, or a company can fire you because of something you said, and you have no recourse.

This is from a guy whos had 3 different threads about this subject on other forums get locked or yanked due to the trolling yahoo’s who want to stiffle the conversation by inflaming forum members.
I know how you feel, but chill … Letting them see you get angry just makes them happy to know they’re doing there job.
Chill and dont give them the time of day and let them stew with the knowledge that they aren’t getting to you. That drives them crazy.

Actually it’s not the trolls that get to me. I’d play with them 'til they went bonkers. It’s the others that over react to the trolls and try to stifle conversation that get to me (Bob excluded). My warped sense of humor gets pleasure out of watching TOC, HJ and others playing mind games with the mindless…:lol:
Let me phrase this a little differently. Those within the modeling community that regularly contribute to these forums that I have admiration and respect for their contributions are the ones that upset me when they try to stop free conversation. Because I have respect for them I wind up biting my tongue…and that hurts. As for the trolls, I don’t give a rat’s a$$ about them. They are nothing but virtual playtoys. They are the ones that can go FOAD! I don’t give a rat’s about their opinions, inside scoops or any other drivel they may spew forth. It’s like a cat playing with a mouse before the kill.

I am not telling you to shut up per se. Rather, it was friendly advice designed to protect your backside.
Whether you take it or not, is up to you.
Some of us have known about such “theories” for a long time but say nothing in fear of having our somewhat meagre possessions sued from under us.
The accusations you made could be actionable in law as defamatory to the “cousins”. Believe me they will not hesitate to sue.
The bottom line is, if you cannot prove, don’t say it. Especially in print.
Now, asking carefully worded questions is another matter entirely.

several of us on this forum have been victims of vindictive posters who want to vent their disgust and anger with what has been posted, by initiating charges of defamation. The actual intent is to scare the poster into submission and to stop following the current line of questioning. While simply a ‘threat’ it certainly does make one wonder when posting a response as to how the recipient may view the response.
And one (of many names) tried to elicit prosecutable statements on these very forums.
One would surmise to impress his “controller” with his rabid, fanatic obedience to the cause.
None of us bought into his crap.
Reference published data (even if you have to send the data to a website to get it posted) or ask questions.
Ever notice the extremely high number of question marks?
Not only the cousins, but the rabid ventilators, you need to be wary of.
Personally, I cannot believe the head “controller” is orchestrating this suicide charge, but there is one rabid pit-bull this could be the work of.

The attempts to, in print, accuse folks of saying something not only they, but no one else ever did, is a real problem.
To discredit the messenger is an even bigger problem.
It took quite a while to close the back doors, but I do believe most are closed.
You now see threads locked ON PURPOSE so the ENTIRE WORLD can see the idiotic rantings of lunatics.
I know folks who have run into ventilators at shows, and were amazed at the claim that “so-and-so has certainly lost credibility” over this issue.
Wrong.
The entire hobby is now seeing exactly who lost credibility.

There are a few very interesting wrinkles that play into the overall timeline, along with a few concepts in German law which, from what I read, are rather tricky, if not impossible, to circumvent.
But time will tell. 
It is also quite conceivable that certain parties wish they could roll back the clock by approx. 30 months.

Why shouldn’t you? Just ask them! Get an estimate of the time and cost first.

I just purchased a motor block through my dealer for my Mogul and it came from LGBofA with no hangup. Now track on the other hand…
