I’m going to be trying to put a B’mann Connie on a serious diet. To do this, I’m interested in acquiring an inexpensive (but unbroken) Big Hauler (4-6-0) steel cab to try to fit on it. Does anybody have one in their junk box? If it works I may have the Connie cab available at a later date.
Thanks!
Lemmie check tomorrow, I think I do?
Mik,
I have one from an old battery Big Hauler. Would it do? As I owe you for the wheels yet are there any other parts you need?
Andrè
Andre, ‘need’ is a relative term. The battery cab should do for this, as long as it is the riveted steel one. I can use a bit of thin styrene to block off the front windows on each side. I also always need stuff like bells, headlights, air pumps. domes, A straight (not tapered) stack might come in handy for this conversion as well… Like I said before, I collect parts and junk.
OK Mik…have several of the parts you mentioned . They are enroute!
