Before there were go-carts

there were…

GOAT-carts! I’d been wanting to do this project for a while. Take one Playmobil cart. Purchased sans rabbits for $2, plus one cheap chinese goat found at Michaels…

and you get…

For those who know goats, I simply HAD to make it a Toggenburg, as we used to keep them… My 16YO daughter threatened to steal it, so I had to hurry up and glue it down. Kinda looks like it belongs there anyway.

I don’t know, Mik. Couldn’t you have bought the rabbits and hitched 4 or 6 of them up to the wagon??? Now THAT would have been a conversation piece….

Kidding aside, looks OK. Give it a second coat of green. Novel use of electrical tape (?) or is that pinstriping?

I like it. Good idea and something different

I intend to touch up the green… actually it doesn’t show near as bad without the flash… I just had to hurry up and glue it down before the goat ran away.

Just make sure ya don’t overload the cart…

heres a project for you!

Along with roosters…I want a billy goat real bad! One of them crosseyed ones!

A co worker that retired years ago had a similar picture of herself taken in a “goat cart”.

Apparently, from what her mother told her, there were people that went door to door selling pictures of your kids in a goat cart back in the day.

Good idea Mik, a neat little period item for the lay-out.
