Been thinking about replacing cab on Climax

I have been thinking about replacing the cab on one of my Bachmann Climax with a wood cab. Questions:

  1. Are their any kits out there to do this?
  2. How easy is to take off the cab?
  3. Would one ever see this prototypically?

Finished building the Climax wood cab from Banta Model Works, http://www.bantamodelworks.com/ I plan to fit it to a Climax once I find one on Ebay.
