Does anyone know the actual size of the bearing that aristocraft uses in their trucks? Or does anyone have a part number from a supply house where they buy them from, other than aristocraft?
Thanks,
Terry

Terry,
I don’t understand your question? Which trucks?
Roosters need pictures!
Aristo does make a few different trucks. I’ve not seen any with metal bearings, but I have very few of their 1:29 cars.
Aristo has a bearing that can be installed on the inside of the truck by removing the bushing and putting it in it’s place. You can buy them in a tube of 10 for like $23 (ripoff)

There has to be a cheaper place to buy them but I can’t find the size. I remember a thread about it somewhere where someone was geting them for $.25 each but I can’t find it.

Terry , I remember the thread. It was on that other site right after they started with ballbearing wheels.
Try here , but there are 6,000 varieties http://www.smallparts.com/b/16410991?searchRank=salesrank/ref=gw_c_pt_b

Terry,
Also look to the R/C Car sources. I seem to remember hunting 3mm bearings and finding a listing there for some that seemed reasonable at the time.

Found it! the person who wrote the thread was on MLS.

$1.00 each. MR63ZZ or MF63ZZ
Hmmmm $4.00 per truck, $8.00 per car, unless it is a 6 wheel truck, then it is $12.00 per car.
How much does it add, I wonder?
Couldn’t tell ya, I was looking for a friend. He has a couple cars that are heavy and with a long train they create some serious drag. $8 a car is high but better than almost $20 that aristocraft is asking. Guess it all falls into what he wants to do. All the tricks have been tried to get them to roll better so I guess in this case it probably wouldn’t hurt.
