Hey guys, my goal for some time has been to get my live steam SPng ten wheeler remote controlled. I finally got everything ordered up and installed on the loco. It runs and works great. It definitely is like putting a complex puzzle together trying to get everything to work, but it turned out well. I got the servos and receiver in the cab, with the battery packs underneath the tender. Now that I have seen how simple it actually is, I am going to have to order another receiver and servo to do my shay. I’ve definitely got the bug… I also decided it was time to fix the gaudy looking tires on all of the wheels, so I got some semi gloss paint and took care of those. I think this made a HUGE difference to the appearance of the locomotive! I couldn’t be happier. Anyways here are a few shots from the conversion and a run today.[
