Be very, very afraid

This could happen to you.

The very first train set I had, a Trix Twin that was a Christmas present in '52 or '53, was set up on the dining room table at my grandparents. My little sister begged to be allowed to stop it before we went to bed -- unfortunately, she twisted the throttle knob the wrong way, and the train hurled itself off the curve at high velocity and into the abyss. The damage was repaired; I still have the train somewhere, but track and controller disappeared long ago.

Chris,

It is very noiticeable that you did not mention if your sister survived or if she is still around. Did you ever forgive her?

Don’t trust your sister(s), they are out there. :open_mouth:

Yes, she is still around. And I did.

Ah, what grim secrets dwell in the Mueller family tree? Me, I trust my sisters :D

My childhood friend, Bob and I used to set our locomotives on the same track, going in opposite directions. In 3-rail, you can do that fairly easy. Then we would pour the juice to them and watch them crash into eachother. I still have mine.

We only did it once or twice before our fathers found out about it. That put an effective end to our careers as trainwreckers. I can still feel that strap…

It is all about "Be very, very afraid..." ;) :) :D
Ah, now all is revealed. Young Hans' sister walloped him with an *** (brand name deleted to salve the feelings of devotees) cattle wagon, leaving him with a lasting trauma about sisters and *** products, and possibly cattle :P

Chris

You gotta remember that was way before xxx !

Wot, and let the facts get in the way of a solid piece of psychobullogy? A cigar is never just a cigar!

Heck, I knew that! Sometimes it's a Zeppelin and other times it's a dirigable. And then there are certain members of the psychobullogy clan who insist that it is a phallic symbol. All of which makes me wonder: what have they been smoking??

It’s enough to be very, very afraid …

They don’t call them "reform"atories anymore.

Loudly? Perish the thought! It was the merest whisper.
