I saw this on the front page - 1851 - The Baltimore & Ohio Railroad makes the first test run of a battery powered electric locomotive. I wonder how long hybrid drive has been around?

HEhehe Come to think of it…back in the early days of “electric Trains” most power came from car batteries…hadda take your battery to the local garage for a charge before you could run…
