I have 3 Bachman battery driven locos from their old train sets. At one time, someone sold the components to convert these from battery to track power (Barry’s trains?). Are the conversion units still available? If not, any ideas of what to do with these locos?

Got to the Bachmann site, they are now selling complete drive blocks for various set locomotives. You may not find a direct replacement, but should be able to find one that is close enough. You might also check in on the Bachmann forum, there is a current thread there on upgrading a Gen 1 or 2 (I forget which). The drive blocks are in the 30-50 dollar range if memory is not failing.
