But I stopped at a local Batteries Plus store today just for phun.
Guess what?
The two dudes behind the counter didn’t have a clue about gel-cells, ni-cads, and the proper care and feeding of such things.
And they are 'sposed to be the eggsperts!

And how long have you lived in the Spokane area?? By now you should know that all we have for eggspurts are pimply faced, snot nosed kids. I’ve given up and buy more mail order and ebay than in the useless, no selection stores here in Spokane.
But on the up side, try Toby’s Batteries at the corner of Crestline and Euclid. CAUTION, you may have to go in the back way because of construction on Crestline.
Even the old farts at Batteries Plus didn’t know nuffin.
They could help me out with a battery for my car, ifn I knew which battery I needed, of course.
