Bass fishing - Smallmouth - with a picture

Bass fishing is my other hobby. I just caught a 6 pound smallmouth this morning…I took my brother out with me. We had a blast.

Brian B., I need you to teach me how to fish! How’s the fishing in your lake?

Jon.

I don’t see a picture, either. WTFO?

OK, Here’s the picture…sorry about that.

I caught this beauty on Lake St. Clair this past Spring. She weighed 6.0 pounds…and hopefully I can catch her next year when she’s a little heavier! Smallmouth bass fishing on Lake St Clair can be unbelievable at times. Jon, The fishing on my lake is pretty good for bass…Not as good as it once was but still good. It is a challenging lake. I spent many an hour learning how to fish on my lake. I don’t get to go fishing nearly as much now a days but all my experience allows me to chose the right places at the right times when I do go. My wonderful wife of 3.5 years has gotten bit by the fishing bug…she does really well. Here’s a shot of her with a 3 pound smallmouth from one of our fishing trips up north from this past year.

Nice fish! Both of them.
