Soop - in any form - has much to commend it, in particular, Chicken soop.
mrs tac suggested that you might have left the label on it - just for local colour.

Great loco Shawn. Looks like it should blend right in your pike. Great job.
That has the great shop built look that is so much fun with logging rail roads. I think it is perfect for your pike.

I replaced the rubber hose with copper tubing, the roof and frame is now removable from the main body.
A great looking locomotive, I think! In doing a little research on these fine little engines, I was curious about running the exhaust up the stack, and obviously it works!! Thanks for sharing!!
Shawn, LOVE all your recent tweaks, especially the copper piping and rerouting the steam out the stack. Can I ask where you got your axle boxes? I’m a little reluctant to fab them out of brass as the alternative method listed in the plans.
You’re a fine modeler. The grease bucket and the lantern are great touches. Just don’t let OSHA see how close your engineer is to that open chain drive though!
Bill thanks. The axle boxes are from Brandbright # RSA2A Price with shipping to US was only $14 and change. It came pretty fast. I like them better then ozarks because they come with a brass cup that fits into the axle box so the wheels spin better. If you need anything else let me know. Glad to help.

'Preciate it Shawn. Sent Brandbright an e-mail order. No hurry here – back surgery on Monday …
Gad, another question. Are the post sockets holding your upright roof supports from Ozark? They sure blend in well compared to the bright shiny casting on the Ozark Web site.
Bill good luck with your back surgery. Hope you have a fast recovery. The post sockets are homemade. I just took some brass strips and bent them to fit each post. Then I drilled two holes on each side and secured them using small hex bolts. The brass was stained with black walnut. I actually like the way the brass looks when its stained with the black walnut stain. It was experiment that worked.
Thanks for your patience, Shawn. What I don’t know about this stuff would fill a large container ship …
