With the live steam version of the Fairymead trundling along I am looking for input and interest in the possibility of making a electric version but with a twist. It will be without the Fairymead paint scheme. Looking at a black body, wheels, frame and stack with a graphite smokebox and firebox. The roof will be red or silver TBD.
Same 18v motor as most others with a high gearing for good slow speed operation.
The bunker and boiler are well suited for a larger battery pack and the firebox is pretty good for a speaker.
It will be RTR track power
Price TBD but should fall about 1850?
