Bachmann's new (Oct 2012) C19

Hi,

Bachmann have released and put into YouTube a new video of the upcoming C19 2 8 0

Here is a link to it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-uvG6caPtrU&list=FLqXkvBbF7Lemenlxn7Ca-OA&index=1&feature=plcp

Yours Peter.

Looks great - and I thought I recognized Stan Ames’ railroad in the video. Credits confirmed it.

I hope it isn’t geared like the K was.

If the video is any proof it’s geared so it will run at a crawl if you wish. I really need to win the lotto

That looks very nice.
But even “street” price is a little too rich for me.

Nice to see a Bachmann video of a 1:20.3 engine actually pulling 1:20.3 stock. Yep, likely be picking one up some day!

It’s tempting, but I need another engine like I need a hole in my head…

It’s a dizees, Ken.
I don’t need one, either.
But…

Yep, I’m sick.

Geezuuzz Christmas Cookies guys

I DONT have any sort of layout anywhere big enough for one of these beasties, but I would LOVE to have the Bumble Bee, it would be my display loco on my workbench, and if for nothing else - used for the SWGRS Fairplex run, if that event ever happens again.

Yea, with no known cure............;)

Hi,

A UK retailer has some of these now and has posted some good photos of them

Here is a link to the site and the photos

I have asked Bachmann what is the minimum radii for them - our UK gardens are small and my radii is about 4.5 feet (its Flexi-track) - thus the question.

My C16 goes round OK, the C19 is about 6 or 7mm longer on the wheelbase of the drivers, with the center ones naturally being blind.

Bachmann’s reply was they they will go round 4 feet radii curves.

Yours Peter.
