Trainworld have announced a Rio Grande Southern stock car, part #98412 from Bachmann. It seems the ‘C&S’ model has been dropped from the range. Now I can stop repainting other roadnames to fill my roster. No release date as yet.
Are they the Spectrum (1:20.3)
or the other size?

I for one will be getting one. It’s good to see that Bachmann is not abandoning the 1:22 scale, but I doubt we will ever see another mold (car or loco) from them in this scale.
Indeed I hope the 1:22.5 range continues. I see it as an excellently priced starter range and also most suitable range for kitbashers.
Having built up a fair amount of Aristo and Bachmann 1:22.5 stock I am now in the slow process of converting some of the Bachmann stock into grounded lineside structures - a lot cheaper than many structure kits I may say and the wheels and trucks are good items to have handy for other uses.
All I need now is for them to start shipping the 1:22.5 EBT coal hopper into the UK again. Applying a new road decals and matt paint to the coal load makes a reasonably low priced own RR coal train.
Alan - Which Aristo line do you consider 1:22.5? Their regular line is 1:29 and the Classic line is 1:24. 1:24 and 1:22.5 are close enough that they look OK together if you keep your rulers put away
