I bought the the rail truck body from Micro-Mark. It’s a very nice kit and easy to put together.
The box body definitely gives the rail truck a shot of personality. Good spot to stick in batteries and RC too. There was a pretty neat fire rail truck bash in the model contest -

Mine has an AirWire receiver, P-5, speaker and 4.5AH NiMH batteries.
I was very impressed by the Fire Truck conversion at the ECLSTS. The boots hanging in the rack were the type of detail you had to really look hard at to see, but perfectly modeled. This has always been a good conversion fodder. I think you’ll enjoy your rail truck.
Nice model Bill. As for the firetruck version and knowing the breakdown and derailment history of the geese I’m glad I don’t depend on them for my fire protection needs!! Nice freelanced model though.

I agree with Dave, it is well done. Everyone can have their fantasy. It kinda reminds me of a fireboat.
On my screen, the truck body is a salmon color, though the fire plug is fire engine red. Does anyone else see it this way, or do I need to visit the eyeball guy?
Steve, the picture shows the colors, just as you have stated…
Andy Clarke said:Now why did you tell him that! He just posted about making roof top A/C units from pill bottles and I don't have any. So he needs more pills !!! Then perhaps he will send me some empty bottles. Steve, The truck is green with spots and the hydrant is blue ! ;)
