I’m going to float a trial balloon here. I’m interested in selling my K27 if I can work up what I think is a fair price. It has the Goodson-approved suspension mods to it, plus a Rodney Patented Brass Drive Thingy installed. Its Battery/Revo RC with a Phoenix sound unit. Green boilered, it has my company red roof, and I added a doghouse on the tender. I can get some pictures in the morning when the light is better in my shop. Would there be any interest?
Do you think it could be changed to airwire easily? Or will it still run on track power?

I wouldnt guarantee it will still run on track power. I dont think I gutted anything essential, but I cant say for sure. I wouldnt see why it couldnt work be converted to Airwire. Never used Airwire, but all RC systems are just about the same. In/out and some control lines.
Considering it has already been converted to battery/RC operation, converting from one to the other is not a big issue. The only difference between the Revo and the AirWire is that the AirWire WILL NOT RUN ON TRACK POWER WITHOUT ADDITIONAL MODS. i know…I have done them. My K27 is same as BD’s except I run AirWire and additional electronics to allow to run on track power.
