All-

I have two Bachmann Porters here for sale. I thought I had them sold to a guy in the UK, but he has not replied. Regardless, I would like to sell them in the US if at all possible please.

Background- I bought them when I thought I would do an Fn3 industrial tramway line for my railway with intentions to battery power them. Well, this did not happen!

First, the side tanker. Only modification was the couplers. They are Ozark castings. I have the NBW castings and link and pins somewhere. Bought it in 2008 or 9 while on a business trip in Seattle on a whim. Has maybe 20 min or so running time. My loss = your gain, $80 plus S/H.

The saddle tanker…bought it a few years back, 2006 or so. I have removed the smoke unit from it (did not work anyways). I have removed two of the sander pipes for replacement with new ones for in front of the drivers (instead of all being behind). Never got around to it tho. The front headlight sticks out a bit and received a shunt and has been glued in place, to be shunted again. Not a perfect model in any sense, but good to clean up/bash. I think the sander bits are in a baggie in my parts supply…maybe? $50 plus S/H.

I have the boxes in the attic for shipping. Needless to say, they are HUGE!

Will consider Euro LGB stock for swap, or Euro Pola/Piko building kits for swap.

I need another loco like a hole in the head, but are you interested in some 2-axle passenger cars? I’ve also got some built Pola buildings (elevated switch tower and the little coal bin thing). I’ve also got a 3060 coach body (no trucks or frame).

You have my full attention Mr. Nelson…what trade do you have in mind, and any pix of the green U?

Ditto Kevin w/3060 “hull”. If no swap would work out, have a cash price in mind?

No particular price in mind on the coach body. I’d definitely be willing to swap it and something else for either of the two 0-4-0s, but I’ll also defer to Cale, since he’s got the more palpable offer in terms of motive power for motive power. (Cale, I never did send you photos of the 2-axle coaches I have here that would go great behind that.)

OK, thanks Kevin, I will keep it in mind depending on Cale. Modelling Bohemia, Austrian U-class (LGB 2070-3) locos were the staple there!
