I know the odds are against me but I would like to swap the running boards on my Bachmann DRGW #345 C-19 for the cowcatcher and front steps off any other Bachmann C-19. If anyone in interested the a swap let me know and we will work out the details.

do not know if you have reviewed the other threads here on the C-19, but the running boards are very model specific and are not easliy removed due to the plastic and steel piping, something will get damaged along the way. as for the pilot parts of it are fragile, and I do not belive are easily removable also. see thread in model making.
I may have used the wrong term. What I am trading is the foot board that are on the front of the locomotive, located where the cowcatcher would normally be, and the foot board (long wooden step) at the rear of the tender where there would be nothing on a road locomotive’s tender.

Failing someone willing to swap, you can buy the K-27 front pilot assembly as parts. Use the cowcatcher and whatever other bits and pieces you can. Trackside Details also makes steps which you can just attach to your existing pilot beam. Those are fairly easy changes to make.
