Thanks Bob.
Al, that is a fine looking loco. Can’t wait to hear how it performs on AirWire. Someday I’ll get one but for now my connie is going to pull the varnish.

I might have missed it…Did you run this bad boy yet? I’m dying to know how it did. The vids I’ve seen online have that slight “jerk” due to the playback resolution. I assume it runs as well as the Connie eh?
Ive seen them run, they are very smooth, even at slow speed. They got it right.
Thanks for posting those photos Al , good looking locos .

I’ll vouch for that. Looked good too…

Looks very nice model, for those who want an electric version - much like the K27. Let’s hope that it has brass gears from the outset, or else Barry won’t be able to enjoy his well-eanred retirement…

I really like that tender! Thanks for posting “real life” pictures, makes me appreciate this model all the more.
Now I need to sell off the last of my “unwanted” LGB to fund it!
I still wished there was a version with round domes, long tender and a backup light…hehehehehe
Hmmm, do I wait until QSI gets the Bachmann board shipping or order the loco and then wait…

It IS strange that they don’t have that configuration, but maybe that didn’t ever exist. Not that THAT has ever stopped them.
So…can anyone pose one beside an Annie or a Connie yet??? Just for inquiring minds sake…
Am I correct in thinking the undecorated version is modernised with rounded domes?

Not a real good comparison, but here’s one next to a Climax and a Mallet…

I really like the tender. if anyone doesn’t want their tender you can gift it to me
Terry
Unlike Terry, I’ll pay for it. ;^)
Seriously, the tender really helps make this model for me. Think I might have to “sctatch” one for the Annie.
The only problem I have with the model is do I pick up the 345 “Bumble” or the more modern Undec. w/long tender?

Thanks Stan!
I got to run a C-19 as a mid-train helper yesterday (with another C-19 on the point) for about an hour and a half yesterday. Downhill, we were hauling 23 cars plus a caboose. That seemed to be about the limit of the locomotive pair. A couple of times we had to split the train for uphill pushes, and the locos could do maybe 11 or 12 cars.
They have a fantastic slow speed, and their response is very nice. These were DCC equipped (QSI Titan I believe). Very nice loco, can’t wait until I’m in a position to order one or two.
Has anyone tried an Aristo REVO in the new C-19. Have concerns because of rumblings about Bach changing Plug ‘n’ Play board…Jim
