Bachmann C-19 Price

Hey folks,

I have begun my search for a Bachmann C-19 at of course, the best price.

I am planning on using the engine as a base to model South Pacific Coast number 13, so a few modifications will be made and a little “kit bashing” will take place.

Up until this point it seems like the best price I have come across is on eBay for 550 bucks including shipping. Would I expect that this is going to be the best I will find, or should I keep on looking hoping for something better?

If it is actually a Bachmann C19…

If it is complete, not abused, and running; it is a rather good price…but tomorrow is another day, and you can never tell what will show up, on Evilbay…

There will always be a better price, but how long do you want to wait and search?

NIB? I think that’s a pretty good price. Al Kramer was selling them last spring for about $605 delivered and that was the best at the time.

I usually see them for between $700 - $800, so $550 including shipping is a great price. Looking at ebay, I see these are being sold by Al Kramer. I’ve bought stuff from him before. All has been as advertised. If I didn’t already have two C-19s on the roster, I’d be ordering one myself!

Yea, if I wasnt saving my pennies for something else, I’d grab a couple more. That’s a great price, and its probably the best locomotive Bachmann has come out with.

$550 is an excellent price. If your holding out for something below that I think you will have a long wait.
