The box says it is a #91805, which is the latest and greatest version of Bachmann’s 4-6-0. It does have the 91805 loco body and the new style improved tender, complete with plug-n-play interface and lots of wires from the loco.
However, someone substituted an Anniversary chassis for the original. The Anniversary models are well-respected and reliable. Whoever did this used the PCB from the original chassis so it still has all the wiring connected to the tender plugs, ready for the control system of your choice. The Anniversary models do not normally have the plug-n-play, and it has Bachmann’s regular basic pnp board installed, which allows it work with conventional track power, plus the ‘pigtail’ board that replaces the basic and allows you to wire in any DCC decoder.
The tender wheels look slightly used, and it has a big hook-and-loop coupler which the prior owner must have added. The loco chassis looks new and never used. All the spare parts are in the box, including the crew and a knuckle coupler.
