Mike,
Reason I asked where you were, is due to a problem I had selling a converted Bachmann Annie to a BBT 2-8-0. This was used in a product review in GR a couple of years back (good review). But being in Arizona, couldn’t find too many fans of the EBT.
You are in PA. so that should not be a problem for you.

Barry Olsen said:That sir is one of the biggest problems the EBT has (or had if they never start up again). Everyone on both coasts has heard of the Denver & Rio Grande, but the fame of the EBT is much less. I suppose this goes way back to common carrier days on both lines. The D&RG served many more locations and moved a wider variety of freight. The EBT was primarily a coal hauler from the mines to a the iron furnaces and later a transfer point.

If I had some spendable $ and you still had the BBT equipped Annie I would be interested.
well Barry it seams no one is interested. This ebt engine is new. They retail for twice this price now. I will entertain offers if anyone is interested in any of the engines listed.

Quote:Mike - the other problem is that EBT never had a ten-wheeler like the Bachmann loco.

Sent an email to you Mike.
Pete Thornton said:True, but at the price Mike is offering it it would make great bash or re-paint fodder for someone. There are lots of Annies out there in other than the prototype ET&WNC paint.Quote:Mike - the other problem is that EBT never had a ten-wheeler like the Bachmann loco.

Jon I did just that with another one I have I decaled it with my RR name. I also weathered it, detail added, also added weight and Phoenix sound
Mike
The EBT / BBT 2-8-0 loco is now at Longwood Gardens, Kennett Square, PA.
Barry
that great Barry I will get to see it since Ross and I are close friends and I will be going down there today I only live 15 minutes from Longwood
