I have a 3 truck shay that has one wheel freezing on the centre truck which I fear is caused by the good old split gear. Looking around for a replacement I cannot find one to replace the gear (tried NWSL but couldn’t see one) but I did find this Motor Assembly (G Shay) (New) [M10051-0ZN02-0ZN01] - $62.32 : Bachmann Trains Online Store! does anybody know if this is a direct drop in replacement that I can use to repair/upgrade my truck. I have an old 38 Ton 2 truck shay as well so reckon that I will probably need some of these in the future.
If anybody knows where I can get a replacement gear I will be truly grateful for the knowledge.

The axle gears usually fail on the Shay, not the drive assembly you have posted from the website. The upside is pulling the axles is much easier than the full tear down of the power truck. The downside is if one gear is bad, the rest are not far behind. Once the gears became unavailable, I designed and printed a replacement. Let me check to see if I have any ready to go. How many would you need?

If you are not prepared to share the stl’s, I will need enough to replace all the gears on a 3 truck and a 2 truck please.
