I was going to buy the boxcab kit for the Davenport, but I have too many projects and too many locomotives to convert to RC/battery.
This Davenport was sold on eBay before. The buyer got caught up in the bidding and paid too much. Although very well packed, it somehow suffered “shipping damage”.
A couple of the windows and the seat is missing. One of the couplers is not swinging properly. Consider it a motor block, though what little ails it could be easily fixed.
I just don’t want it back for a second time
$50, plus postage.
Ralph
You’ve got mail.
Ok,
Have a tentative offer on the Davenport. I’m considering it sold for the time being.

I’m not sure if that’s clever or scary…

Ralph Berg said:I'm the buyer Ralph has referred to. I offered him his asking but haven't paid yet. If anyone else would like this loco I really shouldn't buy it. I won't re-neg on my offer to Ralph, but should any one else want it, I'd be happy to pass the deal to them.

No kidding, prototype for everything, but REALLY?
Must have been “converted” a long time ago.

The Davenport is sold…again
If this deal doesn’t happen, I’ll just keep the little bugger
Ralph
Great news Ralph
Darn, I just found the funding to buy the bugger.
