Nice! I keep seeing the Bachmann trucks and thinking I “need” one for my railroad. I’ve got two rail trucks already, though, so I would need to come up with something really unique (like this) to justify a third.

That’s a clever combination of the Bachmann railtruck and what looks to be a shortened Bachmann tank
But it doesn’t look like “number 2” to me, it looks good.

Well done Scott. What happened to Fire Truck #1 ? was it also “well done” when a out of control fire cooked it??
I bought one of those when Trainworld was having a big sale on them and it is yet to run a single lap. I have been thinking about bashing it and making it a battery RC rig and while it is in pieces I would fix the loose drive train problem these have.

Someone told me to replace the screws holding the drive with the ones for the snowplow that were included with it. I did that and it seems to run fine. Have alot more detailing to do yet. Hose reel and other goodies yet… thanks for the kind words…
