The train was a B&O Streamliner
Yikes
Yea, I’ve had that happen too. And had it caught on film…
Don’tcha hate when that happens
Almost made it all the way around!
That’s what happens when one pushes Bachmann flat cars with a camara on board.
I could have had a better coupling system.
I also changed the reverse curve by makeing it larger.
The original was too tight.
Matt;
Thats nice,
The one thing that always held me back was the lack of money.
When I purchased the B&O Streamliner, I used money that I have been saving for almost 10 years.
I didn’t even have money left to buy track.
Most of my track was what I rounded up at yard sales for almost nothing, .and public auction
I did get track just before the price went up, privet purchase and Evilbay.
I’m glad I got the track when I didn’t cause I can’t afford to buy it now.
What are you using for ballast? It looks good.
That wreck scene still scares me :o It looks like a real wreck the way the camera car derails and digs into the ground
The RH curve at 2:28 would throw the engineer and fireman right out of the cab at that speed.

I noticed that too John. Lol
I can answer the two questions first the ballast is crushes limestone called cracker dust.
And the second is the right hand turn yes it was bad.
I changed that to a 20 ft. radious track right turn very easy turn. Much better.
I also removed the sidding switch.
