Avatar not appearing

This is a bit weird.

My avatar http://www.rcs-rc.com/ pics/Family-Friends/Tony-3.jpg is not appearing here.
Neither will it work in IE.

But the same URL (minus space before pics/…) does work just fine in Firefox.

Anyone got an idea how I can fix it?

Trying to get to:

gives the following server error The requested URL /pics/Family-Friends/Tony-3.jpg was not found on this server. Check to make sure that the file is actually there. Clear the cache in firefox and try again, maybe its just cached.

Bob, I know the file is there for sure.
It works in Firefox no problem.
It also works at other forums.

Um err. How do I clear cache in Firefox?

Its not showing up here in Firefox or IE, though.

OK.

Bummer.
None of the stored images under …/pics/… are working since the website was moved last week.

Rats.
Now my signature gif is not working.

…and now it is.

Weird.

It is…I don’t see your smiling face yet?

I’m getting a 404 Not Found for the entire http://www.rcs-rc.com/pics folder. If it was there it should give me a Access Denied error, not a Not Found error.

Hi Jon.
The RCS website was moved form one server to another last week. I checked to see if the pic is actually there. It is.

My guess is that there is a corrupted path somewhere. I have no idea how to troubleshoot that. Young Ben will sort it out for me later today.
Every RCS article will be affected as that …/pics/… subfolder is where all the associated pics are stored.

I tried IE as well…good luck with the move Tony I’m sure you will sort it out!

All sorted out.

Young Ben forgot to actually “connect” the pics folder when he moved the website. All the pics were there. Just not “connected”. Or whatever the real term is.

LMAO I see Tony now!

I don’t know about B…t.
Young Ben developed a program based on WYSIWYG that allows me to work on my websites myself, even though I have absolutely no comprehension of HTML code whatsoever.
How that all works I have no idea, but, I can create/edit pages upload pics etc by rote. i.e. the procedure was written down step by step until, after a number of times doing it, I can do it automatically. Trouble shooting is not possible.
I use Core FTP to upload the pics and when I went into the website to see what was there, the folder …/Pics/… was there, as were all the pics. There was no code immediately in front of the folder location where there usually is code.
I have no idea what the technical term is, but they were there although the dots were not “connected” so to speak. Now they are.
