Thanks for the vid. If I had the money, I’d buy one of those beautys even though I’m not modeling British railways. It is truly a fine work of craftsmanship.
Thanks, Steve, for fixing that link for me - it just won’t do it for me and my new, soon to be trashed, iMac.

Richard Kapuaala said:Richard, looking back on the recent Aster UK offerings, and taking into account the relative simplicity of this two-cylinder loco, I'd hazard a guess at a kit price of around $5500 - 6000, and another 1K for a factory built model.

I could be wrong, but not by much.

I just finished watching that vid four or five times, for some reason it hooked me.
I really like the spoked wheels, and the Belpaire firebox.
With the dark green locomotive and the maroon coaches, if’n you squint just right, and hold your jaw just so, and in the right light, it could easily pass for Pennsy.

Thats about 6 k more than I currently have
I like them too, but ASTER Finescale is absolutely out of any suggestable pricerange for me. I can´t even pay for a midsized Accucraft! So I´ll stay with my little 0-4-0 Steamcrittes and send my congratulations to everyone who can afford this beauty !
cheers Joe
