AKRR 1072
Hi there. This is Ron at the CRD in Copper Center. Here’s something railroad-related that caught my attention recently: Last year USA Trains came up with a new type of centered cupula caboose, including this one–a number that once existed in the AKRR inventory. The number is real but the prototype is wrong.AKRR never had any of these NE-style cabooses (or is that “cabeese?”).
Regrettably, #1072 came to a rather undignified end about a year before the new LS model came out. I may still acquire one of these USA cabeese. Maybe.
