This is the first survey. I scalped the ground with my lawnmower and laid out the outside borders.
Then I laid out a track plan with fluorescent ground paint. This gave me a rough idea about my curve diameters and other dimensions.
And then ground breaking began. At first I just layed the rocks right on the grass, and it didn’t look quite right, so I buried them a little.
With the help of my trusty BobCat, I started making the first mountain.
The stakes mark boulder position and track layout.
South Possum peak is about finished.
