I finally dug my scanner out from under a pile of junk and cleaned off months of dust… I salvaged some old department store box covers from the estate of my mother-in-law last summer. I thought they might come in handy for signage or something on the railroad. The May Company was a famous department store chain. I’m not sure what Anderson Newcomb was, but probably another department or clothing store in NYC. I scanned these at very high resolution then cleaned them up and converted to gray scale. These are low-res conversions…
