Army Flatcar Done and decals on

I put the decals on the flatcar that I made. Stan did a great job on them, as usual. The tank is a metal one I got at Hobby Lobby a few years back. No certain type, but I use it to symbolize the ones I had in the local guard unit. Finally got the chains and chocks on it also. I made the trucks from castings I did for my UP caboose I made last year. Gary Raymond 1/32nd wheels and Kadee 820’s. Walmart craft sticks are the decking. Frame is just strips of wood I cut and then covered with embossed metal duct tape(don’t use the stuff Walmart sells!) to give it a metal look. Too cold for outside pix!

The USAX 444 is for my company in Vietnam, 444 trans.

looks great, Jerry…

Poor old NG, they get all the cast-off hand-me -downs…

Ken,
FOr a few years we had brand new rebuldt M-48A5’s with the Rise engines. They were great! Had fender braces on the fenders though, so my favorite sleeping spot was gone!

Looks great, Jerry! Those are some fine looking decals to be sure. I’ll have to check out those trucks next time I stop by!
