I have not been able to get on the Aristocraft website this morning. Does anyone else have this problem?
They still have one?
Working fine for me, just signed in. But they are changing hosts so be prepared.
I figured it would have auto forwarded to Generation Next, but it seems to forward to Crest?
I entered it five minutes ago from an e-mail sent to me with Scott Polk’s message of encouragement for his company. However, puzzling is the number of “out of stock” statements related to the listed locos and rolling stock. In abundance, apparently, are the figures for sale.

Yeah well, that figures!
That FA1 on Trainworld, for the ridiculously low price keeps talking to me. But I need an FA1 like I need another girlfriend like the last one I chased out out of my house.
But the FA1 is of the proper road name…
I hope Scott eventually is able to bring in more (new) product.
Sort of off the topic but Polk related. The Sale figures, What scale ar the ones on sale or otherwise? I see a listing on the site for 1:29, and then another listing for “G Scale” figures.
What general scale do his figures run?
I would say about 1:29. Some look to me to be a bit large for 1:29, but that’s what they were shooting for. And that’s in the range of “G Scale”
I have the same problem! Dose not work!!!

If you are talking about the Aristocraft forum, they have a new host.

If you see two pages - one on top of the other - just refresh the page.
Tom
The aristo figures are way too big for 1:29. Ok if you keep them far enough from the train.
Tom, “Way to big for 1:29” Do you think that they are more to 1:24, or 1:22.5 or what?
As I recall, they were always 1:22.5.

Certainly too small for 1:22.5
I had to try it to believe it.
If we are talking Aristo figures: 1/24
I remember years ago somewhere reading in a review that measured and scaled the figures exactly at 1/24 and saying Aristo did this intentionally so they would be usable on either 1/22 LGB Bachmann, 1/24 HLW Delton Kalamazoo, or their (and USAs) 1/29 stuff because they would be right in the middle and therefore at a size applicable to the widest possible markets.
Vic, I can believe that they are about that size. They do appear too large for 1:29 to me. If it was intentional I don’t know, but knowing some of the goofy stuff Lewis did, I can kinda believe that.
Its the same logic why their early line of structures are also 1/24 scale
I measured some of my Aristo figures. I was wrong. 1:24.
Vic, 1:24 would work for me. I have some of the Delton Classic cars and a C16. I want another C16, but the CFO put my, er, um, his foot down and said “NO!”
