Don’t let Ray give you his dimensions!
Measured with a 16" ruler, so some inaccuracy is probable…
L: 21.5" Pilot to Pilot. Couplers add about 1.5" each end so about 24.5" coupler face to coupler face.
W: 3.5625" at Pilot face.
H: 7.875" at cab roof. I didn’t use a level to get this one so it’s not certain.
OK he got the numbers…sooooo? What ya’ gonna build Larry?
Thanks Jon although 7.87 seems a bit tall…
Soooooo nothin’ being built.
Needed the dimensions to compare against my 1:32 box cars. I’m pretty sure the RS3 is small compared to the rest of the dismals
I’ll double check that height for you later today.
EDIT To add: Yes - I was way off. More like 5.875"
Sorry
No problemo Thanks for the update
Hey Larry you mentioned 1/32 boxcars and the Aristo RS-3. Would you be interested in a St. Charles Station 1/32 scale brass RS-1? I happen to have one I’m going to be selling.
Chuck
Thanks Chuck…probably not. Did you ever find side frames for it?
No side frames, decided I’d have to fabracate them, but I’m more 1:20 narrow gauge then 1:29 main line and this RS-1 looks even smaller. I’ll be listing it here later.
