I need a butane valve refill valve for my Aristo 0-4-0. Bit of a problem now that they are out of business. I could sure use some help. I tried a Ronson lighter valve but it didn’t fit.

July 4th, 2014 I got an offer from Triple R Services for an AristoCraft suitable butane filler valve apparently it is an M4x.5MM thread. instead of the M4.5 and M5 valves that are commonly available for the Ronson Lighters.I tried to contact Nevin at Crest electronics for help. He used to be with AristCraft but Haven’t gotten a reply. Too bad.

Contact Jason at The Train Department. He might know of one that will fit or a way to mod the Aristo loco to take a standard valve.

If you are really stuck, and can’t find one, try Jim Sanders, of Wee Bee Loco Parts. Perhaps he can make one for you. Jim is a wizard.
