Aristocraft 27mhz trackside receiver.

I took the recvr out of my old Aristo Pacific last week - the batteries are long gone and I wanted to see if it would still run on track power.

The trackside receiver was installed in the tender in the mid 1990s, and I wrote an article in GR magazine about it and the battery power. (Pre digital cameras, though I still have a print or two somewhere.) It has been sitting on my shelf for the past 12 years since I got in to EBT Fn3 live steam.

It is in pristine condition - no dust! And no transmitter - I need that for the 5490 in my C-16.

Anyone have a use for it?

Hi Pete,

Is it this 10 amp version in the plastic case that the fan mounts pancake style, or the older version? If it is the former, I could use a spare because eventually one of my three will go out.

If you like, I have a working 10 amp Trackside RCS with a transmitter and will trade. RCS is sitting on grey box in picture.

Thanks

TE

Todd,

It’s the older version - gen-1, with no fan.

And my pal Jerry has just laid a new loop and says he needs it, so it has gone to a good home.
