Aristo-----

Well Dave,

I mentioned in an earlier post that many of us “small fry” somehow manage to update websites, fora, software and such without screwing it up big time. In my opinion there is no excuse for Aristo screwing it up. It’s just as simple as that!

Oh yeah, back to the cave for me, to work on my projects! :open_mouth:

What cradles do you sell?

I make and sell a cradle for holding your locomotive or rolling stock. It allows you to work on your project hand free and you can rotate the cradle back and forth without moving your project. I’ve sold several to the members of our club. PM me at [email protected] for more information. Picture attached.

About the Aristo forum. Well if they weren’t bragging on how “smooth” the transition went, maybe people would not give them heck. Bragging about it and dropping the forum, the exploded parts diagrams, the online manuals, and even the “about us” page is pretty silly.

Like bragging about a new car, but it’s missing motor, transmission and tires… but the paint job is snazzy!

Quote from their facebook:

“We Are Live!!!
Check out my latest campaign by Constant Contact.
Our NEW website is now live. www.aristocraft.com We hope that you enjoy the look and navigation as much as we do. As the site is fully functionally you will still see that some pages are still under construction.”

Uhh, what part of “fully functionality” works with “some pages are under construction” ?

Meh, I’ll cut 'em some slack. I don’t rely on them for web support, I rely on them for supplying me with model trains…To that end they have done ok by me. Though ranked 4th by the amount of rolling stock/motive power I own I still wish them well.

Of course as I have chosen them for my control system, it would be a real pain if they failed now. I have noted their “Revo” prices are very close to some on-line sources I have purchased from, within a few bucks.

Look what I found!

Let’s see how this goes!

That’s great news! And now Aristo is offering an additional 20% off of their already low price on the 2-bay coal hoppers. That brings that car in at like $44.00…a price that blows the dealers away!
