I have tried to collect these because I thought they were neat, a good variety of railroads, and back-in-the-day they came with metal wheels. I figured this group could help me out.
What years did the MWLSTS and SELSTS run? Can someone help fill in the blanks, please?

I know the Midwest show didn’t happen in 2006, because I have the RS3 from that show.

Lou yes. The cars and locomotives were made before the show was cancelled. I bought my “pumpkin” from the Aristo store, for what would have been the price at the show. I figured it was a “limited edition”, and/or I could could fib someday and say I was there at the show. Hey, I have the show engine.
Maybe they did both that year? Pretty sure the year they had the LV RS-3’s at ECLSTS they also had a car. I bought two that year; just sold one of them a year or so ago.
Jon, yes they did both. I just so happened to only buy the RS3. At the ECLSTS they had a show car every year I went, I bought the cars, but seldom bought the locomotives.
I also bought two of the MILW road RS3’s from Scott at Aristo and two of the IC NRC reefers which were made for the cancelled 2006 MWLSTS. Bargain prices, especially for a UK modeller.
The following database contains a lot of info on Aristo - plus of course other large scale models.

Lou, I would search the Aristo site, looking for posts near the show, there was always a lot of talk on what the show car would be… just search “show car”

A Bing search turned this up for the show car for the MWLSTS in 2004, and was offered in road numbers: 60992, 61045, 61058 & 61263.

So the years not listed there were no shows?
That would be my guess, unless they had a show with no car…
Could be, but looking at the ECLSTS cars, there are a few missing. I have a car that isn’t listed for the east coast show. And the list doesn’t have the ECLSTS show PCC Sprint of 1776 neither.
