I have a aristo rs-3 that has cracked plastic gears. 3 of the 4 are cracked. I have Aristo replacements coming. My question is Do I push the axles all the way into the new gear til they bottom out or is there a back to back wheel measurement I should go for? I was thinking that since it is an aristo new old stock gear that the wheel axles should be pushed all the way in til bottoming out. Am I correct in assuming that Aristo bottomed out the axles when the rs-3 was built? I have early version axles with grooved ends and tips that run into the sideframes. Any advise is appreciated
Back to back is most important Griffin
