aristo newer o-4-0 with tender

bough new from aristo when they were going out of bininess has run fine till this Christmas ran find for a day then started to slow down would run 1 lup on 2ed lup it ran slower then quit headlight still working. so today I started working on it 1 pin that plugs into tender shows sighs of being burnt all the rest of pins are o k toke the cover off bottom of engine to get at leads to motor but motor is right there but leads are barred in the body enough that I cant get to them to try to hot wire motor to see if its the problem or in the cerket board toke tender apart board looks perfect no burning anywhere any ideas what to do ???

I’d look for something binding an axle. Has it been run on the carpet? Many Holiday train set ups are, that’s why I ask. Carpets and on the floor set ups are prone to lint, hair, threads and other fibers that can wrap around an axle.

I toke the bottom cover off all drivers are free and loose unit was run outside on concrete patio no rug I think its the board in the tender not sending power to motor . any ideas

I don’t have a fix, but this man might… call him.

He has Aristo parts and was with the company, though he is now with the Revo people.
