Aristo LS Mikado Sight Glass Help Needed

I purchased two Mikados they are both needing water sight glasses.

The Aristo forum had a post that the glass is 6mm. Tried this and found it too large. Been told someone measured it at 5mm (3/16). Can anyone confirm this? Also since Aristo doesn’t have them in stock I have located a source elsewhere that will cut them to length and finish the ends as needed. I need to provide him with the length of the glass. WOuld anyone be able to get me that measurement?

Also what is used for a seal on the glass? Is it an O-ring or a fiber washer type?
