Hello, I have a dash 9 with aristo’s plug in rc / battery set-up . I originally also picked up a couple of their lith batterys. The batterys are now junk and have a run life of about 5 minuites . They really never did have a good run life even when they were new. I am asking here is if there is a better battery available that would fit in the fuel tank and can I hard wire it inside the fuel tank with the charging jack . I don’t want to be tied to a trailing car. Has anyone done this ? What battery do you recomend ? Thanks in advance . MD
NiCd or NiMh, Sub C, 2,500 ma, 2 x 8 cell packs wired in series. Pack fit neatly in fuel tank with the weights removed.
You will need a suitable 16 cell charger.
NiCd cells last twice as long as NiMh cells in terms of the number of recharges.
Thanks Tony for the info . Is the pack already ready to go or do I have to assemble the pack ? Where do you get one , Radio Shack?
